BONJUK BURN PORTAL
19-22 JUNE
Bonjuk Burn is a participant generated event that welcomes light & like-minded people to spread the vibe, consciousness and culture that is initiated by Burning Man. It’s a sharing platform nourished with music, arts, sports, self-expression, inspiration, creativity and many different activities offered by its participants. An experience sure to end with big smiles and hugs, while leaving new friendships and memories to hang on to, until our next gathering…

Our first event Bonjuk Burn ONE in 2016 was great success, when we planted the seeds of an amazing community from our immediate close circle of friends. In 2017 with Bonjuk Burn ZERO, we opened space for new possibilities and new members to our tribe. In 2018 at Bonjuk Burn Spiral, our community connected on our common journey. 2019 in Bonjuk Burn Nour, we honored the light within ourselves and supported each other, shed a unified bright light from our land. With Bonjuk Burn Lotus in 2020 we experienced the life of a Lotus flower, rising from mud with strength, opening its petals to all the beauty around and transforming gracefully. In 2021, we closed 7 year cycle together and initiated ‘Rebirth’ as a community. We made promises to each other and to earth for our new life cycle.

At Bonjuk Burn Odyssey in 2022, as we embarked on a journey to explore eternity, infinity and everything that the universe has to offer to us. On our journey, we sailed through the paths planted with lessons, gifts and enchantments. In 2023 after sailing the endless seas of the great unknown, the Odyssey faithfully brought us back to Bonjuk Bay, the Dreamland where we know anything and everything is possible.

The last chapter—Bonjuk Burn Magic—ignited something deep within us in 2024. It was a time of fire and freedom, of bold expression and shared creation. Together, we built a world fueled by courage, art, and community—a world that shimmered with impermanence and brilliance.

Now, we are ready for what comes next.
We invite you to step into the new chapter: "The Portal"

Welcome to Bonjuk Burn Portal, where we become the heroes of our own fairy tales. This year, we celebrate eleven years of dreams made real, of collective wonder, of transformation through togetherness. In Portal, every step is a dance, every thought a spark, every breath a chance to create.

Through the Enchanted Portal, we leave behind the ordinary and enter a realm where imagination breathes in every detail. This is the space we've been preparing for—a place not just dreamed of, but now ready to be lived. What we burned into vision, we now shape into reality.

Bonjuk Burn is not only a spark; it is the ground beneath our feet. And through the Portal, that spark becomes a living world—crafted by each of us, moment by moment, heartbeat by heartbeat.

This is more than an event; it's the manifestation of a soulful journey. A celebration of everything we've grown together: resilience, creativity, play, and deep connection. Now, the magic asks to be embodied—more vivid, more present, more alive than ever.

Get ready to co-create an unforgettable experience. Your presence and imagination are the keys that open the Portal. Together, we built something that stretches beyond time and place—a wonderland of shared meaning and joy.

Let’s step into the unknown with open hearts. Through the Enchanted Portal, we move forward—not away, but deeper into our shared dream. A dream that continues across oceans, lighting up far-off lands with the glow we’ve kindled here.

Enter with us through Bonjuk Burn Portal to be part of a legacy of wonder and shape our next chapter together!🌀

SCHEDULE

June 19th Thursday, "WISHING GATE"

"The soul meets its wish."

The first gate of the week opens for wishes. “The soul recognizes the seed within.”
First step: intention.
To wish is not to hope; it is to act. Today, we transform our inner intentions into an outward call.
Everyone dresses in a single color to simplify, to focus, to hear the essence of desire within.
Today, we don’t just speak our wishes we give them form.
There are prayers that speak to the wind, and symbols that commune with the unseen...
In many cultures, especially in Central Asian and Shamanic traditions, wishes and intentions are released to the universe by tying pieces of cloth to parts of the nature.
This ritual is called “çalama.” A ribbon or fabric is tied to a tree or a high place with intention, left to flutter in the wind, carrying the wish skyward.
The fabric becomes more than cloth it becomes a vessel through which the soul touches the layers of the cosmos.
We honor this tradition, releasing our intentions into nature through ribbons.
Each one carries a wish, merging with the wind, reaching the sky.
And maybe, one day, returns on another wind...

Dress Code: MONOCHROME MAGIC

Today, we dress in one single color. But this “oneness” is not a limitation it is a focus. The energy of a single color gathers scattered thoughts and clarifies intentions.
All colors are welcome—except black and white. Today, we wrap our intentions in the vibrant frequency of color ribbons.
What is the color of your intention?

June 20nd, Friday  "THE TIME TRAVEL"

"The soul is freed from the chains of time and dances the circle of eternity."

Today, the timeline dissolves. We enter a time machine: past or future each is a choice, a calling.
You may become a memory of the past or a possibility of the future.
To step outside of time and embody an identity, a mood, a being from another realm...
Costumes are reflections of the time we choose to travel. Some may find themselves in cyber utopias of the future, others in ancient pagan rituals. At night, we meet with the fire in a sacred ritual.
Fire doesn’t just destroy; it transforms.
In Zoroastrianism it is sacred; in Hinduism, it is an element of purification. For Burning Man , it is a collective ritual of release through flames. In Anatolian civilizations, fire is both protector and purifier. From the Hittites to the Phrygians, from Zoroastrian traditions to Alevi-Bektashi beliefs, fire has been seen as a gate to the divine.
Our fire, too, will lovingly bid farewell to the old self and open space for what is becoming.

"Time is an inner circle. We dance in its ring."

Dress Code: TEMPORAL SHIFT

Today we loosen the chains of time. Would you travel to the past? Or leap into the future? Your costume answers this question.
Ritual garments of ancient times, mystical symbols, ancestral icons… Ancient gods, tribal shamans, lost civilizations or fabrics from the future, metallic shines, bionic accessories…
You may appear as a post-human figure, a being made of stardust, or a carrier of quantum symbols...
It’s not just what you are today but where you come from.
Choose the character that walks through a ring of time. Let your costume tell this time who you are.

June 21st,  Saturday  "RAINBOW GATE"

"The soul shines in its colors."

The rainbow is more than a natural phenomenon; it is the visible face of the invisible.
In mythology, the rainbow is the bridge between gods and humans.
The Norse call it Bifröst, the bridge of the gods...
For Aboriginal cultures, the Rainbow Serpent is the spirit of creation.
In Greek myth, it’s the path of Iris, messenger of the gods. In India, the energies of the seven chakras are represented by the colors of the rainbow.
For us today, it’s about facing, honoring, and embracing every color within.
Together, we begin our transformation by passing through our own inner rainbow.
The rainbow is the harmony of all our parts coming together.
Unity is fulfilled through our differences.
Today, we walk beneath the rainbow together.
Together, we step into the version of “self” we wish to become.
Today is a rite of passage:
A step closer to the being you desire to be.
A character, a mood, a spirit...
We offer our inner voice to the rainbow.
Because each color is a part of us.
And we no longer hide them.

Dress Code: SPECTRUM OF SELF

Today, we walk beneath the rainbow. And each of us transforms into who we wish to be.
A self, an identity, an energy... Maybe a character, a goddess, an animal, a celestial being. Perhaps a gender you wish to embody, or even an an element.
You are now who you’ve imagined. And once you walk beneath the rainbow, that’s how everyone will see you.

June 22nd, Sunday  "REBIRTH"

"The soul is reborn in its purest form."

The day of return from the Portal. But not as you were before. With a new self, a new intention, a new frequency.
"The soul returns to its essence — but it is no longer the same.
"This is not a closure; it is a rebirth. All the thresholds we've crossed have now brought us to a place of clarity and simplicity.
Today, we honor simplicity. And we let the light within that simplicity shine. "With every return, the soul becomes a little purer, a little more light."
Return always carries rebirth with it. After four days of meeting ourselves, we are now lighter, closer to our essence.
We dress in the purity of white. Neon lights reveal the truths we once kept hidden inside.

Because we are no longer afraid to shine.
Because now, we know: Light comes from within.

Dress Code: WHITE LIGHT // NEON TRUTH

What no longer needs to be hidden now shines outward. White is not an empty beginning; it is pure light where all colors unite. And neon: the signal that what was once hidden now glows.
Lines, accessories, luminous adornments, UV details... You shine just as much as you're ready to be seen.
Today, you are as simple as a drop of water and as visible as a star.
A version of you unmasked, radiant, true.

Every costume is a key.
To open a portal, we must embody a state.
The Portal is the threshold to these states.
And you will summon a different “you” each day.
Each transition is not only an outward appearance but an inward state, deepened with intention.
So dream of each day as an invitation to the version you carry inside, and let your costume be the extension of that intention.
In this story we weave together, every detail adds meaning to the magic.
